Molly Feldheim (she/her) LCSW

Hey there! I'm Molly (she/her/hers). As a queer fat therapist, I celebrate diverse identities and specialize in supporting individuals living at the intersections of fatness, queerness, neurodiversity, and chronic pain/illness.

I utilize aspects of Parts Work and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to create a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment. Through insightful talk therapy, you will begin to break your own barriers and embark on a transformative journey of healing past wounds and putting yourself back in the driver’s seat of life. I strongly believe in the use of humor in therapy as a point of healing and building authentic connections, so expect some cheesy puns along the way.

Recognizing the privilege inherent in my identity as a cisgender white millennial woman, I actively confront power differentials in my work with marginalized communities. I understand that experiences like depression, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation are often natural responses to navigating oppressive systems like white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalism. Together, we'll explore the broader context of your experiences and work towards holistic well-being.

Outside of therapy I enjoy animated movies, non-fiction books, and exploring local vintage shops. I deeply believe in the power of tacos, cats, and a good laugh to make the world a slightly better place.

So, if you're ready to embark on this therapeutic journey, to challenge societal norms, reclaim your narrative, laugh together, heal together, and create a path to a more empowered and liberated you, I am here to help.
